Refund policy

At Scissortail Rose Collection, every piece is thoughtfully chosen and carefully packed with love. We want you to be completely delighted with your purchase and if something isn't quite right, we're here to help. 

 

Return Window

Online orders (excluding The Mended Collection — see below): We accept returns within 14 days of the delivery date. Your return request must be submitted within this window, and the item must meet the return conditions below.

Pop-up shop or market event purchases: Returns must be initiated within 7 days of the purchase date and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Showplace Market purchases: All sales are final, in accordance with Showplace Market’s retail policy.

The Mended Collection (online): All sales are final, no exceptions.

 

Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, please review the following conditions:

ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN

  • Items in original, unused condition
  • Unworn jewelry with tags intact
  • Undamaged packaging
  • Items returned within the return window
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN

  • Final sale or clearance items
  • Custom or personalized pieces
  • Worn, damaged, or altered items
  • Floral & home decor items that show use or scent
  • Items returned after the return window
  • Gift cards

Realistic Floral & Home Décor Note:

Due to their delicate nature, realistic floral arrangements and home décor items must be returned in their original packaging, free of dust, odors, or signs of display use. We recommend keeping original packaging until you're certain you love your piece.

How to Start a Return

To begin your return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us at support@scissortailrose.com within the return window with your order number and the reason for your return.
  2. We'll review your request and respond within 2–3 business days with return instructions, including the shipping address for your return.
  3. If approved, securely pack the item in its original packaging and ship it to the address we provide.
  4. Include a copy of your order confirmation or receipt inside the package.

Please do not send items back without contacting us first. Unapproved returns will not be accepted or refunded.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item sent, item arrived damaged, etc.).

We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method. Scissortail Rose Collection is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except in cases where we made an error with your order.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you of the approval status within 3–5 business days.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to post the credit:

  • Credit/debit cards: 5–10 business days
  • PayPal or digital wallets: 3–5 business days
  • Shop Pay: per Shopify's standard processing time

Refunds are issued for the item price only. Original shipping fees are not included in the refund amount unless the return is the result of our error.

International Orders (EU Customers):

Customers located in the European Union may have additional rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, including a 14-day right of withdrawal. Please contact us at support@scissortailrose.com to exercise these rights. 

As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Exchanges

We are happy to offer exchanges on eligible items for a different size, color, or style, subject to availability. If the desired item is of greater value, you will be responsible for the price difference.

To request an exchange, contact us at support@scissortailrose.com with your order

number and the item you'd like instead, and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can make it right. Include your order number and a clear photo of the item and packaging.

We will cover return shipping and provide a full refund or replacement at no additional cost to you.
